Are the bristles really natural?
Yes — every EcoLectric bristle head is made from genuine boar or horse hair, never nylon or synthetic plastic. You can choose firm (boar) or soft (horse) depending on your preference. This is the part of the brush that actually touches your teeth and gums, and it's where the "zero microplastics" claim applies.
Is the whole toothbrush made of bamboo?
The bristle head is natural, and the handle has a bamboo-finish design — but because real bamboo isn't waterproof, the body itself is a durable, bamboo-look material built to handle daily use in a wet bathroom environment without warping or breaking down. We'd rather be upfront about this than overstate it.
What does "low EMF" mean, and should I be concerned about EMF from other electric toothbrushes?
All electric devices with a motor, including electric toothbrushes, produce a small electromagnetic field during use.
